The Ann Murphy Artisans Program is an annual artisan-in-residency program at Cambridge-Ellis School funded by a private endowment created by Ann Murphy, beloved teacher, administrator, and friend of Cambridge-Ellis. The purpose of the program is to infuse the entire CES community with the spirit, skill, thoughtfulness, dedication, imagination and joy that Ann brought to CES over a span of fifteen invaluable years. The program supports the residency of a special artisan or group of artisans to work with the teachers and children of Cambridge-Ellis. The artisan's expertise will connect to and enhance in some special way the CES pedagogy. Teachers and children will have a unique opportunity to work with, and create with, individuals who make or do something very well and with imagination.
